If art was a language then it would be Kanan Asher’s mother tongue. KANAN - The Art Space is the vision and dream of Kanan Asher. As a creator she wears many hats such as artist, sculptor, creative entrepreneur, curator and more. Born and raised in Gujarat, she has set a benchmark across the state by installing her artworks at leading corporations like MGVCL, GACL, GNFC Bharuch and Jindal Steel Kutch.

Kanan has created popular landmarks and traffic islands in major cities such as Vadodara, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad and Kutch. In 2018, Kanan took her work and brand name on an international level by creating sculptures for Sebacic Oman in Duqm, Oman. Apart from big scale commercial projects, Kanan caters to a niche group of architects, interior designers and homeowners who are passionate about imbibing quality art into their habitats.

Under her belt of many achievements, Ms. Kanan Asher curated many art shows in Gujarat attracting art lovers and collectors from different practices and backgrounds. Some of the most iconic shows curated by Kanan were THE CURATIVES Edition 1, KANAN for KARMA and WE20. As a business woman with a keen sense for local art and urge to support grassroot artisans.

She expanded KANAN - The Art Space into a platform offering them multiple opportunities to earn their fair livelihood, as well as hone their skills to perfection and seek balance with the global markets. Today, KANAN collaborates and promotes artisans from various regions of India while integrating their traditional art practices to a global platform.
